Lance and I met in 2000, during the America's Cup. Over the years, we have become good mates. I've returned to Auckland numerous times over the past 23 years to visit with Lance.

Lance and I have ventured off during my NZ visits, heading either North or South for an extensive driving adventure.

Lance has natural and effective "people skills" that have served him well over his professional career in the tourism business.

His engaging and polite personality is expressed to all those who Lance comes in contact with, either professionally or as a good friend and neighbour.

Lance has cultivated these innate talents in dealing with others in a skilful and sincere manner. He has many other talents, such as: a chef, a tour director, either for individuals or small groups, mechanic skills, along with being a mentor to others.

In conclusion, Lance, as you have read above, is fortunately a multi-faceted individual who can shift in numerous directions if warranted. A unique personal trait that few can attest to!

Confident, mentor, close and special mate. Bill, your friendship & memory will last my lifetime.

I have known Lance Green for twenty-five-plus years, both personally and professionally, working alongside him in catering and touring with large and small groups.

He is an exceptional, first-class tour guide.

He plans well ahead, knowing his clients' needs, interests, and personalities, and with that in mind creates experiences that capture their hearts and minds.

No detail is overlooked.

He engages exceptionally well with locals, regardless of culture or country, thereby offering an intimate look into local life.

He is very compassionate and caring, sensitive to any difficulties arising for his clients, and finds solutions.

He's a leader, able to think quickly on his feet in a crisis.

He's a creative who can solve practical problems.

He has a great sense of humour and is a gifted raconteur, drawing guests into memorable conversations around a meal.

If travel arrangements are derailed beyond his control, he is quick to find a solution, keeping everyone informed and happy.

After travelling extensively with Lance, I have no hesitation in recommending him. You won't get better.
